Welcome to my Blog

I have always been a lover of bicycles since my childhood. Whether it's for a short ride, a jog or a long journey, I have always preferred my bicycle. I am Sandesh Subedi from Gyadi Pipaltari in Parbat Kushma and I have introduced myself as a social campaigner for Mechi Mahakali with cyclists.

I have been actively involved in social work since I was in 5-6th grade and I have also introduced myself as a blood collection activist for Mechi Mahakali. Through this campaign, we have collected 570 units of blood. I organize blood donation programs wherever I go, starting with the place I travel to. This campaign has only been successful with the support of the local social activists who were there.

I firmly believe that health is wealth and a healthy body is essential for earning a livelihood. I organized a blood donation program through a bicycle ride and announced my plan to expand this campaign to reach world soon. The main objective of this campaign is to prevent any untoward incidents due to a lack of blood.

This year, I have been on a blood drive through a bicycle tour since 25 Baisakh 2079 and have already reached 32 districts, collecting 570 units of blood from the blood donation program. My goal is to reach all Country gradually. I collaborate with local blood banks and various social organizations, (Nepal voluntary blood donors society) and I donate blood in the blood bank of the district in which I collect blood. My aim is to ensure that there is no shortage of blood in blood banks across the country.

The reason I engage in social work through the Sandesh Mechi Mahakali campaign is because of a tragic incident that happened to me five years ago. I lost my mother to a brain tumor when I was in 10th grade. Blood shortage was the main problem when my mother, who had a brain tumor, was frequently hospitalized since she was in class 6.

Every time we went to the hospital, many people were suffering due to a lack of blood. The same thing happened to my mother. At that time, I vowed to start a blood collection campaign after my mother passed away. "When my mother's brain tumor was operated on, I made a vow that I would start the blood collection campaign as soon as possible," I recalled the past.

The long stay in the hospital when my mother was ill inspired me to become a social activist. Although I have reached 32
